【语法59】高级条件句与隐含条件

除了常见的 if 条件句,英语中还常用隐含条件、倒装条件句和混合条件句来表达假设与辩论。

类型 结构 例句
混合条件句 If + 过去时, would + have done(现在条件→过去结果)
If + had done, would + do(过去条件→现在结果)
If I were rich, I would have bought that house.
If you had studied medicine, you would be a doctor now.
隐含条件(介词/副词) But for / Without + 名词 But for your help, I would have failed.(要不是你的帮助)
隐含条件(otherwise/or) otherwise / or + 主句 Hurry up, or we'll miss the train.
倒装条件句(正式) Were I... / Had I known... / Should you need... Were I in your position, I would accept.
Should you need help, call me.

注意: - 混合条件句的主从句时间不一致,需分别判断时态。 - Were I / Had I known / Should you need 是 If I were / If I had known / If you should need 的正式倒装,多用于书面或演讲。 - But for / Without 后接名词,表示“如果没有”。
